Our commitment
We aim for this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. That means you should be able to zoom to 400% without content overlapping, navigate using only a keyboard, use a screen reader, and read text with sufficient contrast.
How accessible this website is
This website was rebuilt in September 2026. An accessibility review of the theme was carried out as part of the rebuild. We know that some parts are not yet fully accessible:
- Some decorative images and diagrams do not yet have full text alternatives
- Colour contrast on a small number of secondary labels is below the AA ratio on light grey backgrounds
- Some older images in the theme do not yet have descriptive alternative text
- Third-party embedded content, such as maps, may not be fully accessible
What we are doing about it
The issues above are on our fix list and are being addressed as part of ongoing work on the site. We review the site against WCAG 2.2 AA annually and after major changes.
